Apartment

90 sq.m. furnished apartment shared between three persons. One furnished single room per person. Shared bathroom, kitchen and living room. The rooms are for single occupancy only. Please note that the other rooms can be inhabited when you arrive, or a new tenant can move in during your tenancy period. It is not possible to lock the door to your room.

Kitchen

In the kitchen there is a stove with oven and four hot plates, a fridge and a freezer. Tableware, plates, glasses and cooking utensils are provided.

Furniture

Basic furniture. In each bedroom there is a bed (with a mattress, duvet/quilt/blanket and a pillow), a nightstand, a desklamp, a chair and a dresser. There is also a writing desk and chair. In the kitchen there is a dining table and four chairs.

Rent

The rent (SEK 5 552/month) includes heating, water, electricity, cable tv, internet and cleaning once a month. (TV and computer are not provided - subscription only).

Information for tenants

Fire alarm

The apartment is equipped with an automatic fire alarm. The tenants are responsible for purchasing and changing batteries when needed.

Emergencies

For emergencies that occur outside of office hours: 021-17 91 04. Please note that this number should only be used in situations where it under no circumstance is possible to wait for regular office hours.

Garbage disposal

The garbage disposal room is situated in the basement. Please note that all household waste must be sorted in specific containers. Advertisements arriving in your mail box cannot simply be left lying – it needs to be sorted in the correct container in the waste disposal. If you do not wish to receive advertisements please put a note on your mail box “Ingen reklam, tack” (Please no advertisements).

Internet

Wireless Internet connection via broadband. See network name and password on the bottom of the router. The use of Internet is included in rent.

Light bulbs

The tenants are responsible for purchasing and changing light bulbs when needed.
Laundry room

The laundry room is situated in the basement. Use the laundry booking tag to book your day and time on the board in the laundry room. Make sure to bring the laundry key and tag back to the apartment when you are done, for the next person to book his/her time.

The door to the apartment is marked with Bostad Västerås. If you want to receive letters by mail:

Rent

Rent is paid on monthly basis. Pay in slips will be sent to you by mail in the middle of each month. Rent is paid in advance and is due the last day of each month.

Bus

Go to www.vl.se to get information about the bus routes and timetables. August Palms väg is served by bur no. 12. The nearest stop is called Per Olovsgatan.
