How to get a housing offer

Register

To apply for student housing you must create a registration. You can register without Swedish personal number, by entering your date of birth instead. Having problems with creating a registration? See instruction video.

Admission letter

Upload your admission letter under My Pages and notify us by sending an email to info@bostadvasteras.se. Once we have approved your certificate, you will be able to apply for housing on our website.

All student housings are offered on a first-come, first-served basis

Make sure to register your interest and accept your housing offer as soon as possible to secure accommodation for the start of the autumn semester.

The lease agreement for the spring semester will begin on January 18, 2026.

All student housing for the spring semester 2026 will be available starting January 18. It will not be possible to move in before this date.

Yes, you can apply for student housing in Västerås even if you’re studying in Eskilstuna. There is a free bus service between the Västerås and Eskilstuna campuses, making it easy to commute. The majority of international students choose to live in Västerås.
