Brokerage Fee
By accepting a housing offer via Bostad Västerås AB (“the Company”), you confirm that you have read and agree to the following terms regarding the brokerage fee.
1. Fee amount
The brokerage fee is SEK 3,000 including VAT.
2. Purpose of the fee and legal basis
The brokerage fee constitutes compensation for an administrative service in connection with the allocation of housing.
The parties agree that the brokerage fee represents payment for an administrative service and is charged in accordance with applicable legislation, including:
- Chapter 12 of the Swedish Land Code (the Tenancy Act)
- Ordinance (1978:313) on fees for professional housing agencies
The fee is only charged in cases where mediation results in a tenancy agreement being concluded.
3. Payment of the brokerage fee
The brokerage fee is payable in connection with accepting a housing offer.
You accept the accommodation by transferring half of the semester’s rent, together with a brokerage fee of SEK 3,000 and a deposit of SEK 2,000 (SEK 5,000 in total).
Completion of this payment constitutes a binding acceptance of the housing offer and an agreement to pay the brokerage fee in accordance with these terms.
4. No tenancy agreement
If no tenancy agreement is concluded, no brokerage fee will be charged.
5. Information and acceptance
By accepting a housing offer, you confirm that:
- you have read these terms, and
- you agree that a brokerage fee may be charged in accordance with the above.
