Prolong your contract
Contracts per semester
All contracts are valid for one semester. If you wish to continue your stay for another semester, we will assist you in extending the contract. More information will be provided to you. A housing enquiry will be sent to you in March (for the spring semester) and in October (for the autumn semester). The enquiry will be sent via email.
Prolong your contract for the next semester
We are glad that you have enjoyed your present housing and want to prolong the lease agreement for another semester.
To make sure everything goes well and your housing is secured for the coming semester, please follow the instructions below.
- 1Pay rent
The rent for the second half of the semester must be paid before you can prolong the contract.
- 2E-mail
Send an email to info@bostadvasteras.se with study certificaiton for next semester together with the information that you wish to prolong your lease. Remember to state your name and date of birth in the email.
- 3Sign
Sign the new lease agreement, we send it to you in an email. You sign it with E-signing.
Prolong your contract during summer months
If you have stayed in your housing for one semester you have the possibility to prolong the lease until the end of June rent free.
If you have stayed in your accommodation for two semesters you have the possibility to prolong the lease until the end of July rent free.
How to prolong the lease during summer months:
- 1E-mail
Send an email to info@bostadvasteras.se with the departure form and the information that you wish to prolong the lease during the summer (until end of June or July). State your leaving date in the form.
- 2Sign
Sign the prolonged lease agreement that we will send to you by email.
- 3Moving out
Please make sure to read the moving-out email thoroughly and book a time for an inspection if needed. This will help ensure everything is in order before you leave.
