Welcome to Norra Allégatan!

Norra Allégatan is best described as an apartment-hotel with staffed reception during daytime. It consists of 51 furnished single room apartments. Sizes approximately 17 sq.m. All apartments have private bathroom and kitchenette. Three of the apartments are larger, approximately 26 sq.m. and have extra equipment, such as a oven and a microwave oven. The apartments are for single occupancy only.
 

Kitchenette

In the kitchenette there is a stove with two hot plates (no oven) and a fridge with a small freezing-compartment. In the larger apartments there is a stove with oven, a fridge, a freezer and a microwave oven. Kitchen utensils, cookware, cutlery, plates and so on is included.
 

Rent

Rent for 17 sq.m. approximately SEK 27 000 per semester. Rent for 26 sq.m. approximately SEK 32 922 per semester. All rents include heating, water and electricity.
 

Extension of student lease

Prolongation of student lease for a second semester has to take place with a mutual agreement between the landlord, Bostad Västerås, Mälardalen University and the tenant.
 

Summer

If you rent during spring semester only, half of June will be free of rent. If you rent both fall- and spring semester, half of June and full month of July will be free of rent. If you rent during spring semester and will continue to rent the same accommodation for fall semester, the whole summer period will be free of rent.
 

Miscellaneous

Writing desk, dining table, wardrobe, bed, blanket/quilt and pillow are provided. There are laundry facilities for the use of all tenants. 
  

Internet

Internet is included in rent. If you bring your own computer you can access wireless internet directly from your room.
